Our History
In 2005, after many years of experience in the industry, Ross Muro decided to open his first traditional Italian pastry and bakery shop in Vimont, Laval. At that time, he collaborated with partners while developing his craft and production framework. His sons, Adriano and Alessio, were always present and involved in the business. After completing their business studies, they officially joined the family company, bringing with them their knowledge and the experience acquired over the years within the pastry shop.
Quickly, the Vimont location became the heart of operations, where pastries, cakes, and buffets for catering services were prepared before being distributed to the various points of sale.
Success was immediate. Building on this enthusiasm, they opened a second store in Rivière-des-Prairies, followed by a third in Mascouche. Their offering stood out with authentic, high-quality Italian pastry and bakery products, as well as a wide selection of local and imported Italian specialties that delighted an ever-growing clientele.
After several years of evolution and collaboration, Ross, Adriano, and Alessio chose to pursue their own entrepreneurial vision and continue their journey under the name Pâtisserie Dolce Sapore. This new chapter was a natural continuation of their story, preserving the same craft, commitment to quality, freshness, service, and taste that have always defined their reputation.
Today, the business is still operated by the Muro family, who continue to evolve the brand while respecting its founding values. In line with this vision of growth, they recently opened their fourth location in Town of Mount Royal (Ville Mont-Royal).
